  • Classic Cinema 9 Gordon Street Elsterwick (map)

The Melbourne Flute Quartet

six-four present Southside Sundays: bringing new art music from Melbourne's leading classical musicians to Classic Cinema Elsternwick.

Our inaugural gig features the Melbourne Flute Quartet. Hank Clifton-Williamson, Nichaud Munday, Lina Park and Adam Richardson have come together to bring an afternoon of lush, thoughtful and unique music to Classic Southside in the new year, covering a flute quartet repertoire from Handel and Kuhlau to the present day.

South of the City is a social enterprise focused on activating creative spaces on the south side with music, art and film. Run by a network of young people – musicians, artists, filmmakers and dancers – we’re invested in supporting, promoting and putting on arts events closer to home.

We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri People and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which this event is taking place. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
